Charlie Howard  25 years Later:  How Far Has Maine Come?

     This display was created by the Jean Byers Sampson Center for Diversity in Maine at USM and examines how far Maine has come and how far Maine has to go in addressing anti-gay discrimination and    violence.

 Poetry Reading

Join us on 10/20/09 from 1-2pm as we share our favorite poetry. Feel free to bring your favorites or something you wrote! Kara Kennison will read from her book Songs from the Places.

 Weave a Web of Information display showcases books, magazines, and databases that will help you with your research for school or for your extra-curricular interests.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month display provides education from Spruce Run about the horrors of domestic violence and information on building healthy relationships.

Books 2 Eat celebrated its eighth year promoting books and EMCC Library on 4/15/09. A delicious high tea was  served by our very own culinary arts students. Eighty people attended the event and 23 people entered edible creations.
