The Student, Staff, Faculty art reception will be on 3/10/10. Applications for exhibit submissions are available at the Library and need to be submitted by 3/1/10. Speaking of art, did you miss the reception for Diana Young? You can still see her vibrant pictures on exhibit until 2/24/10.
Please mark down 4/14/10 for our ninth Books 2 Eat event. Now is the time to think about what edible entry you would like to make. For more information click here.

*The next art exhibit at the Library will be “Energetic Locations” by Diana Young. The exhibit will be in the John Rohman Art Gallery from 1/11/10-2/24/10. The reception will be on 1/13/10 from 4-6pm. All are welcome!

Charlie Howard 25 years Later: How Far Has Maine Come?
This display was created by the Jean Byers Sampson Center for Diversity in Maine at USM and examines how far Maine has come and how far Maine has to go in addressing anti-gay discrimination and violence.
Poetry Reading
Join us on 10/20/09 from 1-2pm as we share our favorite poetry. Feel free to bring your favorites or something you wrote! Kara Kennison will read from her book Songs from the Places.
Weave a Web of Information display showcases books, magazines, and databases that will help you with your research for school or for your extra-curricular interests.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month display provides education from Spruce Run about the horrors of domestic violence and information on building healthy relationships.
