To returning students and faculty welcome back! To new students and faculty welcome!! Last year was a very busy year for the Library. The Library Annual Report FY11 points out in the past 3 years the Library has increased 32% in library services. Over 60,000 people walked through the doors of the Library last year. Make sure you are one of them this year! The Library is here to help you find high quality print and online materials. Did you know on the Library website you have access to over 20,000 academic ebooks?  You just need your library card to access them on your computer 24/7. Do you know where to go for peer reviewed articles? Contact the Library and we can help you find them. Need help with citations? No problem, the librarians can show you how to use NoodleTools, an online citation tool. The Library also has access to thousands of leisure books and materials. Make sure you have a current EMCC Library card to access both our print and online resources. The Library also offers a variety of displays and events throughout the year that are free to all. The first event will be an art reception for Jonathan Bright on October 6th, 2011 from 4:30-5:30pm. Jonathan’s photos are from around the world. So what are you waiting for …stop by the Library today!

End of the Year

Just a reminder all materials are due back 5/6/11. If you need more time for a school project just stop by and talk to a librarian before the end of the day 5/6/11.  Starting the week of May 15th the Library starts summer hours which are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm except on holidays. Anne Spencer’s art exhibit will be here until 6/30/11. The Library hopes everyone has a terrific summer!


New E-Books!

The Library has purchased over 20,000 academic e-books  now available on our homepage. These books will be available 24/7, 7 days a week to help students with their research needs. Off campus students will need a current EMCC library card to access these books.

Just want recreational reading e-books? 200 are now available on Overdrive. These e-books can be checked out for up to 14 days.
